Discover how to focus on strengths, change assumptions and visualize new ways to look at challenges.

Strength-Based Thinking

Strength-Based Thinking means looking at yourself and the world around you through the eyes of what is working, what strengths are present, and what the potentials are. Conversely, deficit-based thinking means looking at yourself and the world in terms of what is not working, what is lacking, and the gaps between where you are and where you want to be.

With Strength-Based Thinking, you are more ready and able to magnify what’s best in other people. When you can see and say what is best – strong, useful, or valuable – in someone else, the person feels worthwhile in your eyes and the trust between you grows.

Organizational success comes from the power to leverage assets in yourself, in others, and the organization. In this facilitated session, you’ll gain actionable real-world tools that help you leverage your strengths, overcome personal challenges and obstacles, and shift your perspective toward opportunities rather than problems.
